Bastille Day Picnic
Sunday, July 18
at the Turning Basin Park in Princeton
From 12:00 to 3:00

We can't "storm the Bastille" all by ourselves!!
Please help us hold a memorable, fun and liberating Bastille Day event on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Turning Basin Park (12 noon - 3 pm).

We need:

  • Boom box and French music
  • Help blowing up balloons and decorating.
  • A Boules set or other outdoor game
  • Someone to ask Wegmans, Shoprite and McCaffrey's for their tax deductible donations - Let Us Eat Cake!
  • Someone willing to pick up and transport drinks and ice to the park (you will be reimbursed for your purchase).
  • Ideas for games and someone willing to bring or lead the games.
  • Someone willing to post flyers and help publicize our 2nd annual event.
  • And anything else you'd be willing to contribute.

OR JUST SIGN UP AND JOIN US FOR LA FETE ET LA CUISINE FRANCAISE....lunch and games planned.
Lunch $20.00 per adult, $10.00 per child (12 and under).
Event, without lunch, free.

A Theater Workshop in French for Teenagers
sponsored by The Alliance Française de Princeton and The Association Francophone de Princeton.

Number of participants: 10 min. to 20 max.
Date: Sunday, June 27, 2010, from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
Place: in the large common room of the Suzanne Patterson Center, 1 Monument Drive, Princeton, NJ 08540.
Price: $15 for the 3 hour session.

French conversation group

We are asking all participants to bring a dish to share. 


Conversation Group

Do you love to speak French, but just don't have the opportunity?  Or, are you going to France, and want to dust off your French before you leave?  If you are a member of the Alliance Francaise of Princeton, you are welcome to join our free conversation groups, held twice a month.  They are led by Gail Bruno, an expert in the French language and retired French teacher.

When :  12 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of each month, unless otherwise noted.
Where :  McCaffrey's Second Floor Cafe.

Last Class on June 27 - The conversation group will begin again in September.
